Well we have started we left Canberra at about 2:55pm yesterday afternoon (29.03.2017) and drive through to Seven Hills. We hit Seven Hills at around 6:45pm and we almost knocked over by the extreme humidity, needless to say it was a bit of a sleepless night.
We were up at 6am this morning and eye on the road at 7am expecting to get stock in traffic getting out of Sydney. Surprisingly while there was traffic we didn't really get stuck very much.
At 8:50am we hit Bonnells Bay to collect the Roo and after a cup of needed coffee and a delicious cake cooked by Mum Roo we went for a walk to the water for the kids to get a photo (see below link to panorama).
After the obligatory pre trip photo and a full of the water tank, fuel tank and diesel drums (OMG only 117.0 per litre) we were on the road to Bonny Hills. We managed to pick up 4 Geocaches and 2 DNFs along the way.
At 4pm we arrived at the Bonny Hills Big 4 Caravan Park and they kindly let us upgrade to a cabin so we didn't have to try and set up the tent in the dismal rain and wind. Mind you the crazy kids still went to the water playground for a while to get wet!!
We found the towels in the kids room folded into cute little animals, think Charlotte might like to learn to make them. We have had to get creative with our parking to allow the fridge and freezer to be plugged in for the night......
